4. How to Get the RIMC Application Form?
The application form for RIMC can be obtained in two ways:
- From RIMC Office: You can collect the form directly from the RIMC campus.
- By Post: You can send a request with a self-addressed envelope and a demand draft to get the form by speed post.
Note: The form must have the official RIMC hologram or seal. Photocopies or locally printed forms will not be accepted.
5. Application Fee
The application fee depends on the category:
- General Category: ₹600
- SC/ST Category: ₹555
The demand draft must be made in favour of “The Commandant, Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun”.
Along with the application form, candidates must also attach:
- Two passport-size photographs
- Domicile certificate
- Birth certificate from a government authority
- Category certificate (for SC/ST candidates)
- Two copies of the filled application form
6. RIMC Entrance Exam Pattern
The RIMC entrance exam is held in three subjects:
- English: 125 marks
- Mathematics: 200 marks
- General Knowledge: 75 marks
To pass the written exam, a candidate must secure at least 50% marks in each subject.
If the candidate qualifies for the written exam, he will be called for a viva-voce (interview). After that, a medical examination is conducted to check if the student is physically fit for the training.
